Ben Kaufman started photography at twelve years old, after seeing a photo book by his godparent, also a credited photographer. Ben was self taught, starting off by rolling his own 35 mm black and white canisters and developing them all on his own. He continued through his youth shooting and developing, collecting cameras and joining the digital world as others did. A few years ago Ben made the move to photography as a career, where he shoots music, fine art, food, and fashion. Ben was the former photo editor of Resource Magazine, a national photo magazine. Ben continues to develop his skills, shooting tests, editorial, and commercial work. He also is very devoted to his fine art work and is always developing some new series.
